FEATURES - OMG this piece is so amazing! Mod perfection! What a statement necklace. Beautifully designed large-scale elephant pendant by Pierre Cardin. Pierre Cardin created some amazing space-age designs in the 60s. A few people claim these necklaces to be a runway item but I was not able to find any evidence of them being on a runway. I know in this collection Pierre did a lion's head, a poodles head, and an owl. Starting in the late 60s Pierre Cardin started licensing his name (possible these could’ve been created under that licensing agreement). Regardless, Its a fantastic piece of vintage jewelry - a great addition to anyone's collection.

CONDITION - Very good condition - has a small chip in the plating on the left ear and some minor scratches on the legs
