ERA - 1970s
LABEL - Tanner of North Carolina
TYPE - Dress
COLOR - Multi
FEATURES - Such a stunning maxi dress! I love this floral/large-scale paisley motif. The colors are so bold and vivid. The chartreuse green running throughout the print is my absolute favortie. It is a piece that needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. Additionally, the velvet textile adds a textural element and elevates the dress to another level. Features a matching belt and center back zip closure. Such a fun piece of vintage fashion.
MATERIAL - Feels like a cotton velvet
CONDITION - Good condition but there are some flaws to note. There is a tiny bit of color run throughout (not super noticeable but I tried to lift it with a soak in synthropal but had no luck). There is some staining throughout the dress, the underarms have a some slight staining, and on the bodice, there are a few faint spots past the hip on the left side, near the hemline on the front right side is a more noticeable spot. I must say the print does a good job of hiding these imperfections. There is also a small spot at the waistline seam that shows some stressing (the belt does cover this, however).
